Ha… “That unit is a woman” is akin to saying “Bitches be crazy, but we don’t kill them for that”. Thanks for that consideration, writers. Additionally, beyond the fact that Uhura’s “re-education” is rather magical, they never address that she loses all her memories as well as her job knowledge. Yet she manages to come back more or less the same person (not that we know that much about Uhura as a person).
