I enjoyed the movie when it came out. After I thought about it, it kind of fell apart. Data tells Picard that Sorin can’t fly into it because the ship would be destroyed. How did he get in it in the first place. He was in a ship. How did Kirk get in it? He was on a ship.
Since you can get in it with a ship, then blowing up stars and almost everything else in the the movies doesn’t need to happen.
