Martha Hackett as the humanoid or as a Cardassian or as a Romulan is always mesmerizing. I love the meta-commentary about “Let’s have a romance between the helmsman and the Maquis engineer” and “Oh yeah, that’s realistic.”
Also, the computer writing scenarios reminds one of Vic Fontaine, and it’s worth noting that the Vic Fontaine idea was floated in the fifth season of DS9.
Have to disagree on Seska–she is very Cardassian and will do whatever she has to do to get home. Duty to Cardassia. And I want a Lower Decks parody of the Starlet Holodeck Malfunction Department.
